Allied Health Services


Allied Health Services encompasses physical therapy, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, speech & language pathology, cardiac rehabilitation, and a sleep disorders program. These services are delivered to patients in a variety of settings, including the hospital, schools, nursing care facilities, rehabilitation agencies, and the patient's own home. The focus of every department in Allied Health Services is to promote the improved quality of life for each patient. Respiratory and sleep study supplies are available through our Respiratory Departments.



Behavioral Health


The Central Wyoming Behavioral Health at Lander Regional is an established inpatient behavioral health unit that offers a safe haven from the sometimes overwhelming pressures of everyday life. Central Wyoming Behavioral Health provides quality comprehensive care delivered by a highly trained staff in a warm, therapeutic environment, where patients can take time out from life to address their emotional, psychological, or substance abuse issues. Central Wyoming Behavioral Health Outpatient Services are available both to former inpatients who need ongoing care and to other individuals whose presenting conditions do not warrant hospitalization.

Business Office


All commercial insurance companies as well as government entitlement programs are billed by the hospital. The Business Office offers financial counseling for all planned admissions. If you have any questions please contact us at (307)335-6291.



Diagnostic Services


Laboratory services are delivered under the direction of a Board Certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist. The laboratory offers 24-hour support service to the Emergency Department. The Radiology Department offers a comprehensive list of radiologic diagnostic studies using state-of-the-art equipment including a full-body CT scanner, nuclear medicine camera and an in- house MRI.



Emergency Department Services


The Lander Regional Hospital Emergency Department has experienced doctors, a dedicated staff, and the latest medical equipment available to diagnose problems and begin treatment 24-hours per day 7 days per week. All physicians and staff are certified in Advance Cardiac Life Support. Our emergency department is a state designated trauma facility.



Health Information Services


Health Information Services is responsible for the maintenance of medical records and the release of health information. A signature of the patient or person legally responsible is required for the release of information. Health Information Services will fax or send patient information directly to other health caretakers free of charge for continuing care for the patient. A fee is charged for copies of health records to insurance companies, attorneys, personal records, etc. Our hospital is updating patient health information policies to be in compliance with HIPPA federal laws effective 2003.



Surgical Services


With it's many medical specialties, the hospital averages around 130 operative procedures per month and over 240 deliveries per year. The surgical specialty services available include orthopedics, obstetrics, gynecology, urology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, dental, otorhinolaryngology, and general surgery. Anesthesia services are provided by physician specialists that have specific training for evaluation, preparation, and care of patients in all special and general areas of surgery.



Women's Health Services


Women have different needs during different phases of their lives. Lander Regional Hospital is dedicated to providing quality care for the ever-changing health needs of women. LRH is fully equipped to handle high risk obstetrics, providing Level II nursery services, comfortable birthing rooms, prenatal classes, comprehensive surgical services, and infant CPR classes. Our women's health unit is always updating care issues to be supportive of women's needs.
